Jeanne Schultz Design Studio is a small scale design firm based in Austin, Texas, USA with dynamic, meaningful projects worldwide. The studio seeks to break the mold of traditional architecture and design firms by employing flexible and collaborative strategies, advocating for gender, race, and economic equality and engaging the community with design.
Specializations include boutique hotels and bed and breakfasts, compact urban dwelling units, adaptive reuse, and tenant finish outs.
The firm is committed to global sustainability and public interest design. Schultz served as the Design Architect for the inaugural Lagos Biennial in 2017, culminating in spatial materialization of the intersections of art and architecture, heritage and culture.
In an effort to improve local urban infrastructure and inclusive place-making, Schultz has participated in American Institute of Architects (AIA) Austin Design Voice design charrettes, AIA Austin Women in Architecture conversations and exhibits, American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) design charrettes, and community-based panels.
